The Difference Between Video Options on Social Media

If you aren’t doing video as part of your social media strategy … this is your sign to start!

Did you know that close to 90% of marketers feel that video has a positive return on investment?

Connecting to your audience on a more personal level through video will benefit your business greatly — and help you make more money! This is a great opportunity to get more eyeballs on your content and your message.

Through this three-part series on video marketing, I discuss the different types of video that you can create to help market you and your business: recorded video, going Live and Instagram Reels.

Recorded video has the advantage of being shareable on multiple platforms, and elsewhere — such as your blog, like I’m doing here!

Are you ready to connect with your audience on a deeper level? How about going live?

The there’s live video, which is a great option for having open discussions on your platforms (Instagram and Facebook specifically). It has the added benefit of engaging with your audience in real-time!

One of the newest options is Reels in Instagram, modeled after the wildly popular TikTok platform. This option is perfect for short-form, visually appealing content.

Keep in mind, Reels maxes out at 30 seconds. If you have anything longer in mind, you’ll want to record a video or go live.

If you have any questions about any of these options, leave them in the comments below. I’d love to help!
