How Getting a Housekeeper is Related to Growing Your Business

If I could get someone to clean my house for me, I would. In a heartbeat.

Hear me out.

Because in my personal life, that’s the chore that I don’t really enjoy. It’s frustrating when I end up having to spend my weekends cleaning. And if I’m being honest, I tend to cut corners. Literally. So I don’t do it very well!

But I like the RESULT of it: having a clean house. I want it done well! I want it done by someone who cares and is attentive. And I want that to be someone besides me.

And for me, it would be an investment in my happiness. Every. Single. Time.

It’s the same with outsourcing anything — personal or business. Imagine how great it would be to have someone else do the tasks that you don’t enjoy doing, aren’t your specialty and, maybe, you aren’t very good at.

Now, of course, I’m 100% capable of cleaning my house. And doing a lot of things in my business: accounting, invoicing, building and updating my website. But these are now all things I’ve gotten help with, whether through systems or hiring someone. And I love that I don’t have to spend time doing them anymore.

I’m able to focus on what I do best: figuring out the best ways to reach and build relationships with my client’s audiences on social media and turning them into customers.

That’s how getting help isn’t spending money – it’s making an investment in YOU being able to spend more time and energy on the things YOU are best at, so your business keeps growing.

It’s okay to reach out for help, in your business and personal life. And if one of those things you’d rather not have to do all by yourself is social media, send me a message!

  1. Perfect, Smart. Why spend precious time that can be dedicated to your business on things that only distract and frustrate you?
